The Threat Meter is an indication of current security issues for computers connected to the Internet. The number of attempts to compromise computer and data security has increased. In addition to following the safe practices recommended by EarthLink Threat Research, use caution when opening unexpected email, instant messages, file transfers, and links to Web sites you’ve never visited before.
